Mayan Food
Mayan Food preserves and shares the deep culinary heritage of Yucatán through artisanal packaged meals, crafted with traditional recipes like cochinita pibil. The brand identity is built around the metaphor of a gastronomic tree, a system of roots and grafts that tells the story of a cuisine shaped by native ingredients, colonial exchanges and mayan culture.

The branding embraces the richness of this fusion, using organic textures, earthy tones and symbolic forms to evoke a sense of history and place. Each visual element connects to a sensory memory: the bold color of achiote, the aroma of slow-cooked meats, the warmth of handmade preparation.

Rather than romanticizing the past, the design positions Yucatecan food as living cultural heritage, dynamic, resilient and meant to be shared.
 This project was developed during my time as a designer at Bienal Comunicación.
